DESCRIPTION
These are genuine #3.5 RN horseshoe nails (Capewell #3.0 RN coming soon!) which have
been bent into the proper shape for making your horseshoe nail crosses. Using pre-bent nails
makes your cross-building faster, more consistent, and more enjoyable with beautiful results
every time.
TOP NAILS
Each top nail features loops that are nearly identical from nail-to-nail, so you don't have to
spend time and frustration trying to match them up. The 90-degree bends are consistent
throughout the batch so you end up with nails that sit flat back-to-back AND sit flat on the
arms of the bottom nails. This makes wrapping the cross easier, fitting the nails together
quick, and makes your finished cross stronger and more uniform.
BOTTOM NAILS
Each bottom nail features a consistent 90-degree bend and all nails within your batch are
the same height. This means that you won’t have to match up each nail for a perfect fit.
#3.5 NAILS VS. #3.0 NAILS
One of the more common questions asked about the nails is, "What is the difference
between the #3.5 and the #3.0 nails?". Simply put, the #3.0 nail is slightly (1/8") smaller
than the #3.5 nail. This means that the finished #3.0 cross is about 1/16" to 1/8" shorter
than the #3.5 cross. The most commonly used nail is the #3.5 nail, which is the size that
gained popularity in the mid 90's and became the "standard" size for making crosses.

HOW MANY NAILS DO I NEED? Since it takes four (4) nails to make one cross, here is a simple chart showing how many crosses you can make from the basic quantities of pre-bent nails I offer here:
100 Nails (50 Tops/50 Bottoms) = 25 Crosses
400 Nails (200 Tops/200 Bottoms) = 100 Crosses
1000 Nails (500 Tops/500 Bottoms) = 250 Crosses
DO YOU WANT TOPS ONLY? If you like to bend your own bottom nails, then you can order the TOP NAILS ONLY in the same quantities!

long enough!
